The Gazetteer

An IT Career Switch project to create a single page web app based around Leaflet's interactive mapping library. By clicking on the map or selecting a country the user can discover a wealth of information presented in an attractive mobile-first design.

Experience

In the late 90s and early 2000s I worked as an analyst programmer for a tech consultancy firm, programming in MAPPER (now called BIS). Since then I have worked for a number of charities in event management and web-based communication roles.

During the past year I've been on IT Career Switch's Coding course. It has given me an intensive introduction to a wide array of programming languages and technologies with lots of hands-on experience.
